Justice: Whats the Right Thing to Do? (Kindle Edition) by Michael Sandel I had the good fortune of watching Sandels lecture series on this topic before reading the book. It helped me immensely because I recalled quite a bit of it as I read. If youre looking for philosophical answers you wont find them here but Sandel lets the reader know thats not his intent. His goal is to challenge us all regarding our assumptions about justice. He does an excellent job with that! If youre willing to examine your beliefs and allow them to be challenged ... and possibly changed in some cases then youll enjoy this book. If you read it solely from the position to rebuke Sandel because he challenges you or youre not open to considering changing some of your beliefs then dont waste your time or money. Personally I found it refreshing and if more people had dialog, not debate, around the issues Sandel explores wed be better off as a society.
