Justin Ford, Commissioner-District 3, Position 3-(901) 545-4301 [email protected] Commissioner Justin Ford was elected to the Shelby County Board of Commissioners in the August 5, 2010 general election to represent District 3 Position 3 the position previously held by Joe Ford. He is the youngest commissioner in Shelby County history. Mr. Ford is an active business and community leader in Memphis. He is a licensed Funeral Director in the State of Tennessee and is Vice President of the Ford Funeral Homes. A lifelong Democrat, Justin graduated from White Station High School in 2002 and attended the University of Mississippi, majoring in Political Science. He graduated from Northwest Mississippi Community College with a degree in Funeral Service Technology. Commissioner Ford currently serves on the following Commission Standing Committees: Chairman, General Government- Vice Chairman, Conservation-Member, Budget & Finance-Member, Public Works-Member, Law Enforcement, Fire, Corrections & Courts-Member, Core City, Neighborhoods & Housing Justin is the son of former County Commissioner and Interim Shelby County Mayor Joe and Cheryl Ford. He attends St. James AME Church in Memphis.
