JuteColab was founded in 2009 to provide an eco-friendly alternative to plastic and paper bags. We pride on being a fair-trade organization, and our products are all manufactured by fair-trade certified producers. Intention of our founders was to promote sustainability in our society and give back to the community. We have been successful in promoting sustainability through eco-friendly products and now, it’s time to start giving back to the community. At least 50 percent of our profit is poured back in to the communities mostly in New South Wales but we have done some work in Northern Territory, Australia also. We have a number of ways to help charities, ranging from providing standard bags for fundraisers with custom logos or helping charities design their own bags, all provided at cost price to not-for-profit organisations. We also sponsor community events for our resident charities. JuteColab is one of those very few organisations that devote time and effort in creating functional eco-friendly bags to help our environment and also to invest in their local community, part of what they earn from this business. We are keen to sit down with charitable organizations to discuss further details and work together to meet their requirements. As the saying goes, “Charity begins at home”. But here at JuteColab, charity begins in the heart of our people through our creations.
