KASHMIRI PANDIT CONFERENCE KPC KPC EXPRESSED GREAT CONCERN OVER RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN KASHMIR VALLEY. Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief Expressed his great concern. Over the serious and sad developments occurred during the current month, which indicates the complete failure of NC-Cong. government ruling in the state of J&K. He further said ahead of prime-minister visit to Kashmir Valley, scheduled on June 25th, 2013, two police Head constables were shot dead by unidentified militants at Hari Singh High Street Srinagar. This is being followed by Hartal Call given by pro-pak and JEI leaders of the valley on the day of PM visit, is a serious development and big concern for nationalist forces. National anthem has also been disrespected in Kashmir University a few days back, besides a heavy militant threat is also looming large for Amar Nath Yatris as indicated by Home Minister of India and others recently. Earlier on June 20th, 2013 a Kashmiri Pandit family was attacked at Village Chawogam, Anantnagh, Kashmir, two temples located at Durga Nag, Srinagar, Kashmir and Uri (Laghama) were ransacked and looted on June 3, 2013 and June 10, 2013 respectively. These thefts caused heavy lose to the temple property. So far no clue of gold and other valueable stolen and no arrest made, despite of constant persuasion to state administration concern at Srinagar by KPC activists and so many others. KPC chief said that this all exposes the bogus tall claims of state chief minister and also contradicts to his plans to get AFSPA revoked and to get trained militants back from POK, Pakistan. This also exposed the mind set of those so called KP leaders and activists who are advocating for return of KP’s to previous locations and twin cities in Kashmir Valley, without keeping in mind the negative fall out of their negative thinking and activities on overall KP’s community. He appealed the community don’t fall under the trap of selfish elements within and outside of our community and maintain unity to achieve our goal for which we are struggling from last 24 years in exile.
