KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY SAFE** iWATCH, iREPORT, I KEEP US SAFE is the community awareness program created to educate the community about behaviors and activities that may have a connection to criminal or terrorist activities. This Department of the Army (DA) mandated program is the way ahead as the “Army’s 21st Century Neighborhood Watch Program.” It is designed to be a partnership between Army communities (leadership and members), law enforcement, and crime prevention entities. Particular behaviors and activities to report via iWATCH include: * People drawing, measuring, or taking pictures of important buildings or access control points (ACPs). * People asking questions about military movements, deployments, or re-deployments. * Vehicles left in no parking zones/vehicles without registration or license plates. * Suspicious items, bags, backpacks, or packages, bags, left unattended or out of place. * People asking questions about law enforcement, security forces, security measures, critical assets, or other sensitive / classified information. * People in restricted areas where they are not supposed to be. Successful Antiterrorism and Force Protection Programs depend heavily upon the personal involvement of all its community members. Vigilance and awareness are our watchwords. Early detection, recognition, and reporting of potential terrorist and criminal activities are the first line of defense against those who intend to harm members of our community and its assets. Report suspicious activity by calling the MP desk at 526-2333 or Hospital Security at 526-7655/7951. Stay alert as you go about your daily business and become familiar with the normal routines of your neighborhood, community, and workplaces. Understanding these routines will help you spot anything out of place or out of the ordinary.
