KI - C H I The kanji that Ki (above) represents, steam coming out of the rice cooking also means air or breath. It symbolizes so something essential to life. The Ki, in humans, is located in an area just below the navel, called Tanden/Dantian/Tan tien (cultivation field in Chinese). This area is considered as the point of martial arts. The concept of Ki is registered, in the oldest Indian treaties and Chinese. Ki is and this at all, but the debate itself, for millennia: 1-the Ki exists as a separate force of matter; 2-the Ki arises from matter; 3-the matter arises from Ki. Some Buddhists and Taoists believe in the concept of a third party, since they consider that matter is an illusion.
