KIND OF PRONOUN Personal Pronoun: refer to specific persons or things. They always function as noun equivalent. Singular : I, me, you, she, her, he, him, it Plural : we, us, you, they, them Possessive Pronoun: indicate ownership Singular : my, mine, your, yours, her, hers, his, its. Plural : our, ours, your, yours, their, theirs. Some of them function as adjectives modifying nouns: my, your, his, her, its, our, their. Intensive and Reflexive Pronouns: Intensive Pronoun: emphasize a noun or another pronoun. Reflexive Pronouns: name a receiver of an action identical with the doer of the action. Singular: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself. Plural: ourselves, yourselves, themselves. Relative Pronouns: introduce subordinate clauses functioning as adjectives. In addition to introducing a clause, the relative pronoun, in this case who, points back to a noun or pronoun that the clause modifies. Who, whom, which, that.
