KNOW YOUR PARTNER Love is great, its a nice feeling, its definitely magical but please it is not blind! Dont be blinded to some factors that can later ruin the feeling. This morning, Ill mention 10 things out of others to know about your partner especially before you say I do: 1. Maturity: How he/she responds to mistakes, quarrels, disagreements, family pressure, workload etc. 2. Openness: Is your partner comfortable around you to discuss his/her fears, worries, past and future ambitions. 3. Intellectual compatibility: Look out for how he/she accurately comprehend and interpret your communication; do you think too apart? Intellectual compatibility fosters understanding. 4. Completeness: Ensure you dont have the same weakness. He/she should be able to make up for your weakness. 5. Handling Finances: If you are a spender, then he/she must be a planner, at least one of you must be a planner so that finances can be handled effectively. Women especially should take note of this, learn to manage resources well. 6. Age is not just a number: Relationship/Courtship/Marriage is for men and not boys, women and not girls. 7. Trust: This is a feeling of rest which comes from the knowledge that he/she cant trade you for anything. 8. Leadership/Followership Traits: This means willingness to follow your partners lead and also the willingness to accommodate your partners opinions. 9. Respect: This is very important in any relationship, learn to respect each other. Apologize when youre wrong, carefully choose your words especially when angry. 10. Integrity: This the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. It is good to apologize for mistakes but when they occur too frequently, it becomes habit.......May God help us................................... Ameen.
