KOGI ASSEMBLY APPROVES 15 COMMISSIONERS The Kogi State House of Assembly has screened and cleared 15 out of the 17 commissioners nominees forwarded to it by state Governor Idris Wada, for approval. During the screening yesterday, Speaker of the House, Alhaji Momoh-Jimoh Lawal, urged the nominees to key into the transformation agenda of the government for overall development of the state. He advised the nominees to shun corruption and live above board, saying that collectively, they can take the state to the next level of development. One of the nominees and former information commissioner, Yabagi Bologi and another nominee, Stephen Aremu, were absent during the exercise. Those screened include: Joe Abrahams, Zakari Alfa, Barr Umoru Mohammed, Dr Idris Omede, Abdulrahman Wuya, Engr Steve Mayaki, Dr Abdulmumuni Usman, Ali Aju and Engr Olatunji Oshanusi. The others are Zainab Suleiman Okino, Fidel Egwuche, Dr Agnes Okai, Zacchaeus Atte, Barr Kayode Olowomoran and Abubakar Ainoko.
