KUGEL REFERENCE FOR YOU Hello everyone... yesterday there was a fair amount of conversation about reference books for kugels. I spoke with Craig McManus via email and he suggested that I post a picture of our book and the details of the research that went into it. The book is called Kugels : An Antique Christmas Obsession by Tucker Beesley. Tucker is the photographer that handled the vexing issue of photographing what is essentially a mirror in many shapes and sizes. Joe Krisky is a kugel collector and producer of the book. It was researched via visiting with approximately 20 premier kugel collections all over the United States and with submissions sent from numerous collections in Europe. The book is 11 by 8/5, hardbound and 302 full color pages. It contains over 700 photos of over 400 individual kugels organized into 18 chapters and over 80 authentic kugel caps. The entire volume is structured by type and size and color for your cross referencing to any item you might have in front of you. It also contains a rarity guide.
