Kabalat Shabbat and potluck dinner June 21 6:30 – 11 pm "On Shabbat, Friends, shalom! Join together for Kabbalat Shabbat and potluck veggie dinner this Friday evening at Kits Beach. We’ll gather on the grass among the trees at the north end of Kits Beach, north of the little parking area at the end of McNicoll Street – right where the “B” is in this photo. Come there and you’ll find us. Once we’re gathered, we’ll join in singing, chanting, sharing stories, candle lighting, challah and Kiddush. Everyone needs to bring a generous, abundant vegetarian dish to share. It can be a main course, a salad, a side, a dessert or beverages. Bring lots! And, everyone needs to bring their own tableware, cutlery, glasses, serving utensils, napkins – everything you’ll want. In fact, bring some extra for folks who don’t have enough. Bring whatever you need and want ~~ • a blanket or something to spread on the ground • drums, guitars, tambourines . . . If you’re planning to come, we’d love to know.
