Kaizer Chiefs are likely to be without Willard Katsande and Itumeleng Khune when the club take on Liga Muculmana in a Caf Champions League second leg clash in Maputo next Saturday (March 8). However, the influential pair are perhaps unlikely to be missed as the Glamour Boys hold a healthy first leg lead. Amakhosi defeated the Mozambican side 4-0 last Saturday (March 1), and will no doubt feel confident of hanging on to their advantage. Goals from Knowledge Musona, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Matthew Rusike and Eric Mathoho all but sealed the deal for Chiefs. The game also saw young Reyaad Pieterse take Khunes place in goal, during which he gave a polished and composed display. Nonetheless, Chiefs coach, Stuart Baxter, has explained to the clubs official website that both Katsande and Khune will be out of next weekends game in Southeast Africa. He said, Going to Maputo next week we will continue with the rotation system. Willard Katsande picked up a second yellow card and Itumeleng Khune injured his ankle during the warm-up. Both will probably force us into a natural rotation of the team.
