Kalala and I drove by the new Samoan store in lemon grove (same location as last one) yesterday and decided to go check it out. Well its barely stocked, the cooked food was their main emphasis and as we bought mamoe, Sausage, fish, Mulipipi and taro I was thinking, these stores need to start a more healthy menu. I believe Samoans are starting to eat healthier and the stores have not adapted. The ones in Hawaii and the one in American Fork, UT have more Raw fish/poke choices, the one I like is Polynesian Luau in San Francisco, they have excellent food and baked items and the one in Carson on Main St. has the best fried fish, but the same lololo food choices are starting to annoy me. And the way guys who were doing the cooking and serving the food were dressed....lol, kinda made me loose my appetite. Food was decent tho so looks can be deceiving..still need more vege/chicken dishes.
