Kale: Installment #1 Lets talk Kale. (Kale nah!) I never liked kale I thought it was too stemmy and hard in texture until this fall I was in NYC and got a kale salad in Brooklyn just to try it NYC style and it was cut into little strips that made the texture so easier to chew and it was SO GOOD I came back home and figured out how to cut it into little slices like that easily. The answer: roll the leafs until they are formed into a cannoli looking shape then chop in little sections and they come out strips-see vid demo. Look out for tomorrows easy bacon sauté kale!
