Karam al Beek, #Aleppo, 17-03-2014: Some of the devastation wreaked in the Karam al-Beek neighbourhood by regime warplanes bombardment yesterday (Sunday March 16th, 2014). Like the other residential neighbourhoods of eastern Aleppo, Karam al-Beek has been largely reduced to rubble and burnt-out shells of buildings by the regimes relentless daily aerial and ground carpet-bombing, which has intensified in the past three months. Most of the residents have now fled to escape Assads blitzkrieg, with half the population of Syria now either internally displaced or refugees in neighbouring countries. This figure continues to rise daily.
