With this sudden announcement, to all the fans who have supported me, the staff, and my band acquaintances, and above all the members, I feel greatly that there is no way to apologize fully. I made plans in my previous bands with Tomoya, and over mixi we met Koudai and Subaru and started as Royz, and then about five years ago we met Kuina and became a 5-member band. Up to now I’ve met many people and acquaintances, and I’ve experienced good times and bad times. From day to day, I believed in the power of music, I communicated with my beloved guitar as a member of Royz, and I went through lives and other work with the aim of creating music that would get close to people’s hearts. And I believed that from here on I would still be doing that. But in all that, I heard my mother became ill. She has an illness for which there is no cure. And my father is having trouble looking after her, and if anyone other than a family member gets close to her, she falls into a panic, and that stress is worsening her condition. As their only son, when I heard this news, I made the strict judgment to part from the path of my band activities. It’s very regrettable to have to leave a band that has walked together to one by one achieve the dreams we drew up before we started, And even now I still haven’t accepted the reality of the situation. But to me, my family has an unbelievably huge importance, and I didn’t hesitate to make this decision. But to think of ending something that has continued for five years, and to think of the time with those who supported me, and those who love Royz from the bottom of their hearts, it’s too mortifying to bear. Thinking back on my five years with Royz, so many things have happened, and it was a valuable time in which I was able to grow in numerous ways. To the many fans who supported me, To those in Osaka who always had our backs, To Kiryu who always provided honest advice and love to me when I was inexperienced and moved to Tokyo, To Codomo Dragon, BP’s president, the office staff, and the band staff, To the bandmen who spent time with me as friends, And of course to the members I was always with, I am truly grateful to every person I had a connection with. Turning towards my last live on 6.11, I have 6 more lives left, I’ll digest them one by one, and challenge myself to do my very best. Please continue your support to the very end. And, for the members who decided to keep going as four members despite of the severe state of affairs I’ve caused, Please continue to support Royz from here on out.
