Keep in mind that the Gospel of John is Gnostic in nature and it also promotes the Demiurge doctrine of Plato..... which Philo (A Jew of Egypt) also promoted to a point, though Philo was not a Jesus believer. Likewise, the Gospel of John does not promote the law of Moses.... BUT - rather it promotes the hidden knowledge of who Jesus really is. The demiurge in the flesh. Johns gospel.... was not written by a Jew, let alone by someone that knew and saw Jesus. Paul.... promoted the idea that Jesus is a heavenly being that came down from heaven to redeem mankind for his God. That is the Greek demiurge doctrine of the ancient Greeks of the time. The God of Israel has no personal heavenly son..... thus it is impossible to send His only begotten son.
