I was attending my parents Sunday school picnic one hot, July Saturday night. I certainly wasnt out looking for anyone, as all of the attendees I knew of were either older or already married. But the night before I prayed that the Lord would send me someone to share my life with. I was playing corn hole at the picnic when I felt I was being watched. I was. The shy handsome new guy later made his way up to me at the shelter house. We struck up a conversation. I was a teacher, so was he. I was a Sunday School teacher, so was he. An hour and half later we were still talking and I noticed the crowd was almost gone! We said our goodbyes that night, but I couldnt stop thinking about him. Two weeks later he emailed me and asked me out. 8 months later he proposed, and 2 months after that we were married. We now have 3 beautiful children and are celebrating 7 years of marriage. My prayer has been answered.
