Kellys Fatu (double feature) Part 11 Three months later things at home was going good I started uni again but this time I did it online. Nela moved in with me still living with Ben and Emily, everything seems so perfect Baby was such a quite one and Ben just love stealing him away from me. Two years later I saw changes in Nela he hardly came home and when he does he was either drunk or an arse it got to the point we were arguing every time. Until one morning I woke up from a knock at the door I went to go open it and it was a girl standing there. “Hello how can I help you?” Girl: “can I please talk to Nela” “Is there something I can help you with?” Girl: “oh can you please just tell him his girlfriend came around thanks” “Sorry what was that?” Girl: “Oh I’m sorry how rude am I to not introduce myself my name is Belinda you must be his sister” Just in time he just pulled through the driveway She ran towards him and he looked confused so did I Nela: “Baby what are you doing here?” “Baby? Nela are you serious?” Nela: “baby it’s not what you think” Belinda: “what’s going on?” Nela: “not now please can you go home?” “No Nela don’t do that to this poor girl let her know who I really am” Belinda: “Babe what is she talking about?” Nela: “she my gf of three years and we have a son together” Belinda broke down I didn’t blame her he basically played the both of us I wasn’t angry at her it wasn’t her fault it was all him. She got off the ground and she basically ran towards the traffic something I didn’t want to see the car almost hit her but lucky it didn’t I ran towards her I just grabbed her away from the road I was shaking at the same time I didn’t know what to do? Or say? She started crying telling herself that she was nothing I then notice she wanting to end her life at that very moment I felt hopeless and that no one should ever feel the way this young lady is feeling right now. Nela came towards us Nela: “Belinda I told you to not come here? What were you thinking?” Belinda just sat there repeating the same thing over and over again Belinda: “why can’t anyone love me? Nela I’m pregnant to your child” Nela is now yelling at her Nela: “I never loved you and you should know that by now get rid of the baby right now I have a family of my own” I got pissed off at Nela this poor girl is just at the point of giving up and he has the nerves to yell at her and say s*** like that “Are you serious Nela don’t you dare try and put this on her you obviously played the both of us and she sure looks like she had no clue what so ever about me and your son” Part 12 She started breathing heavy it was like she was having asthma attack she started panicking and tbh I was also panicking but I had to act quickly towards her and because Emily has asthma as well so I ran in her room to grabbed her emergency inhaler and ran back outside to give it to her she stopped for awhile now she crying I started crying as well the last thing I ever wanted was for her to end her life and to hear her put herself down like that. “Are you going to be ok?” Belinda: “Thank you I hope you understand” “No worries I understand it’s not your fault but you’re pregnant and you shouldn’t be stressing out right now okay let me handle him ok go home and rest” Nela: “No you’re getting rid of that baby you understand” And then went through his wallet and chucked her a couple of $100s Nela: “go take that and get rid of it” She got up to hit him but I grabbed her “Honey his not worth losing your child let me handle him go on” Once she left our driveway I turned to Nela and slapped him across the face I hit him a couple of times I was so angry at him for what he did to us to her I knew what that poor girl was going through because right about now I felt it too. Argh I wanted to kill him but all that came to me was to kick him out I told myself I had enough I’m not dealing with this anymore. I grabbed my son and we left to go join Brother Ben and Emily down at Nana and Papa house. “Pack your s*** and you better be out before we get back tonight” Nela: “Babe you for real” “Yeah I’m serious now I’m done with you” Nela: “Kelly for real this time” He grabbed his son and started hugging him Son: “Bye Bye Daddy” Nela: “Bye Son” The next day we return back home Ben: “Sis where’s Nela?” I lied to him “His at work” Ben: “Sis I hope you don’t mind but John is coming over tonight if Nela don’t want him around I understand we will go somewhere else” “Nah don’t worry about it let him come” I received a text from Nela Nela texts Babe I miss you and Son can we please work something out Don’t worry about Belinda it was a mistake it’s you and Son I love and need right now please forgive me can we please work it our for our Son He needs me just as much as he needs you. Out of all people you should know how it feels to be in a family with just one parent. Please forgive me I promise I wont hurt you again. I ignored his text messages and calls I needed time to think. I put my baby to sleep and left him with Ben while I drop Emily to her mum’s house as it was her mum’s turn to be with her. And when I dropped her off I saw the last person I ever wanted to see. Charlene: “I’m sorry she just came I didn’t know she was going to visit” “No it’s ok but have you told Ben I don’t think he wants his daughter around her” Mum: “are you going to give your mother a hug” “I’m sorry I don’t remember if I have a mum” Uncle Lima: “Baby come on give your mother a chance” “No uncle I think she abused all her chances I gave her” Mum: “Is that my Granddaughter in there, you going to introduce her to me” Just in time my phone rang it was Ben “Bro did you know your useless mother has finally turned up?” Ben: “Sis please bring my daughter back give the phone to Charlene” All she said was ok, no worries, thank you Ben “Everything good?” Charlene: “Yeah” We returned back home to find Nela car there including John and Chris Ben: “Thanks sis I’m sorry I didn’t know she was going to be there” “I’m fine don’t worry about me I just wanted Emily to be safe and with her around I don’t think she is” Ben: “By the way Nela home are you sure his okay with John around?” “Yeah I’m sure you enjoy your night with the boys” I walked in the room and found him lying on my bed like his welcome, I punched him on the leg he got up straight away. “What are you doing here?” Nela: “Where were you?” “oh I’m sorry I didn’t know I needed to report to you where I’m going” Nela: “That’s not the point Babe what I only left a few hours ago and his back what did you expect me to think?” “What ever Nela just get out”
