Kelvin keagan was a captain every good player loved to team up with. His prowess brought England to soccer limelight, Armado Diego Maradona ruled the Argentine soccer world and was practically a colossus,bestriding the wide world of football, when he wore the black band for Argentine, Michel Platini, the darling maestro of French football, and a hot of other name were all at one time or another the stars and winning captain of their teams. These men were winners in their own right and the world stood up to acknowledge their mastery and excellence in their difference in their differet ears. The media ran after them and celebrated their prowess. Their posturs were the delight of cameramen and calendars spoke volumes of their exploit. Great captain they all were, while they held sway. The world still cherish the momories of their dazzling moment. But today, it is different. They no longer captain a team and will most likely, never do so. The glorious days of ovation and emotional clap-trap are certainly over. Life is such a poor, transient player. Where is Portugals Eusebio? Where is Englands Legandary Stanlry Matthew? They knew the rope of their game so well but as men,age has caught up with them and taken it toll on both their physical energies and mental capacoty. There limits set to what any human being can do in time or over time. No one can trespass the limits of mortal grandeur. Unfortunately, men fail to realised or are slow to lean that. There is nothing ever-wining on earth. The success of man in any endeavour, be it academics, sports or any other career,will not last. The best of men also will not be forever. Death must come someday. But there is one that adides forever. He alone is an all-winning captain all the time. His name is JESUS. His victories are not conditional by time or age.He is the same yesterday, and today and forever(Hebrew13:8). He came to save the world from sin. If you join his team, you be an automatice winner as long as you in His team, you do not stop playing and you do not stop winning. He is greater than any mortal man. If you love the unbeatable winner, then I invite you to join Jesuss team. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us(Romans 8:37).
