Kendriya Vidyalaya removes German as the third language from its schools and gives an option to the students to learn either Sanskrit or any modern Indian language in that slot. Ramadoss and Karunanidhi term this as imposing of Sanskrit. It appears that they would prefer German to Sanskrit or any other Indian language. Ridiculous. By the way, I think third language is a completely failed idea. No student will pick up anything worthwhile. If someone is seriously interested in learning a new language private initiative outside the school is the best way.
