Kenyans will never cease to amaze me. I bet most of Kenyans dont know what the The Security Laws (Amendment) Act, 2014 is all about. Whereas the politicians are shouting about the parts which will affect them, the parts which affects the ordinary Mwananchi which are more critical and outrageous to be frank have been largely ignored. Of importance is that the fines have increased so much that most people cannot literally not afford to be caught in the wrong side of the law. Another aspect is making the post of Cabinet secretaries more powerful at the expenses of the statuary bodies. Some fines are raised from one thousand to one hundred thousand Public Order Act: Security Act (Amendment): 2.
