Know a friend who is an undocumented immigrant, but who has questions about college – and how they may qualify? Come to the DACA Forum on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Valencia’s Osceola Campus is hosting this in collaboration with PICO United Florida, a collection of faith-based organizations primarily serving the Hispanic community. The purpose of the event is to help students understand eligibility and renewal requirements for DACA (immigration attorneys will be attending the meeting) and also get the word out about the recent Florida legislation granting in-state tuition for undocumented high school graduates.
