Koala Habitat Restoration Project We are seeking expressions of interest from landholders of properties with koalas who would like to be involved in restoring or enhancing habitat. Assistance which could be provided to landholders may include: • bush regeneration works to control weeds and restore koala habitat • tree planting to extend and connect koala habitat including labour, trees and guards where required • onsite training to landholders in restoration and revegetation techniques If you would like to participate, please complete the form at envite.org.au/Expression-of-Interest.html and submit by Wednesday September 11, 2013. Koala habitat restoration in Lismore Local Government Area is funded by: Lismore City Council $100,000 over 3 years from NSW Environmental Trust Lismore City Council $90,000 from the Office of Environment and Heritage EnviTE Environment $90,000 over one year from the Norman H Johns Trust managed by Perpetual Philanthropic Grants for koala habitat restoration in Lismore LGA Koala habitat restoration is supported by Friends of the Koala, Safe Lismore
