Kol Nidre - The Diamond! To all those fasting on the Holy Day of Yom Kippur, Have an easy Fast! This is the holiday of the birth of Hope! After the sin of the Golden Calf Moses went back up on Mt. Sinai petitioning God to not destroy the Israelites. His decree still stands! It always will because Gods decrees hold. After 40 days he came down the mountain succeeding in his pleads. That day was Yom Kippur! We shed all senses of materialistic comforts including Food & Water, leather clothing etc. in order to try to be closer to that which binds us together! God and the acknowledgment of Hope! This is a time of real introspection and depth. How far will you delve into your soul?
