LEE CARTER KILLED LUCY BEALE - AND SHOW BOSSES HAVE ALREADY TOLD US SO! This one popper up on Twitter and is VERY clever, focusing on the crossword puzzle that the ghost of Lucy Beale filled in for her dad Ian in the Children In Need special. You can read the whole theory here, but it basically boils down to the fact that, after Ian asks his daughter who killed her, she just nods at the crossword. He checks it out, only to find it now reads: I love you But, just underneath that, it reads: Lee, stop it! Plausibility level: 6.5/10 - Lee definitely has a bad temper, has lied about his alibi (he claimed to be at the party all night, when Nancy knows he wasnt), and has been keen to shift the blame onto Lauren Branning.
