LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – QUICK TRIP to the MAINLAND There was a gentle rain during the night here at our Nut Farm on Whidbey Island, enough to water all our plants! Slightly overcast, low sixties, I headed to the ferry midday, appointment and errands on the mainland. First stop, of course, Hancock Fabrics Store in Lynnwood, WA, always great to see the staff! I purchased some of my fabrics, and love taking them to the Home décor trim wall! I found two new fun orange trims and a purple to coordinate with, ROYAL BOTANICAL II by M’Liss, you will see them on pillows soon! Always pick up Mettler threads, zippers, and Strawberry Twizzlers, my favorite! Today, I also bought Sew Perfect Pillow forms and my favorite, Fusi Boo Batting, with my quilt on the cover! My store cart overflowing, car trunk could handle it! It is fun planning new projects, and finding new products to make them even better! A quick stop at the Home Depot, still picking out items for the Little Upstairs Bathroom Remodel…I know another story to update you on! Back on the ferry, home again and Our Pets were super happy to see me! Another long, good day, and will catch up on work tomorrow! Thank you for so many, “LOVELY” COMMENTS, all the LIKES, and VIEWS on, “AUTUMN ON WHIDBEY by M’Liss – MICHAEL’S SUNFLOWERS” and “LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – HAPPY (Almost) BIRTHDAY ALEXANDER!” Have a Blessed Sunday.
