LIONS GATE CONSIDERING A DIVERGENT THEME PARK Have you ever dreamt of zip-lining over Chicago like Tris? Or jumping on and off trains like a Dauntless? Or maybe you’d like to take a trip through Four’s fear landscape? (Who doesn’t?) Lions Gate may just make it possible! The entertainment company has confirmed it’s in talks with potential theme park partners for a new Hunger Games themed amusement park. This park would be the first test before possible expansion into Lions Gate’s other big franchises; Twilight and Divergent. While there is speculation that target audience, cost and major competition would be deterrents to the new parks, Lions Gate is in talks across four continents and a touring exhibit, “Hunger Games: The Exhibit” is expected next summer.
