LISMORES ARTY ARK - AND THE RAIN BEGINS TO FALL Mayor Jenny Dowell and Queensland artist Paul D Johnson made a brief appearance a short time ago to have their photos taken with Woodlark Streets Arty Ark. Reminiscent of a Bible story, it seems we could now be in for 40 days and 40 nights of rain as the rain began to fall. The Queensland artist would be wise to take his $150,000 and head back to sunny Queensland before we need to use the Arty Ark to save us all from a flood. It is a shame Lismore City Council could not lead by example and shop locally instead of just telling everyone else to.
