**LONG TIME RESIDENT OF SHELTER NEEDS A HOME** Poor Jake has been in a cage for a good part of his life, as he has been at the Stark County Humane Society since October of 2013. He was taken from a home when he was just 10months old....since then he has only known chaos and uncertainty, living in a kennel day after day, all alone. Although Jake has not had proper training, he will walk nicely on a leash, once he has gone for a nice long walk. He needs someone to understand that he only get exercised when volunteers come to visit him and him some attention. For all the time he has spent in a shelter, he still has a great personality! He loves to jump up and give kisses, but because he is a bigger dog, he can be a lot for an inexperienced person. Also the reason he should be in a home without little kids. PLEASE remember when adopting ANY dog, you MUST teach your children to respect the dog!! A child SHOULD NOT try to take a bone, toy, etc. from a dog at any time, let alone from a dog that is still trying to decompress from shelter life! Jake is a very happy-go-lucky dog who would do well with an active family. A fenced in yard would be ideal, but daily exercise is a must to keep everyone happy! He is super smart and is waiting for someone to exercise his brain and teach him how to be the great dog he can be :) Please contact the Stark county Humane Society In Louisville OH 330-453-5529 for more info on Jake ID#21194178 Or just go meet him and take him for a nice, long, walk!!
