LUKE 16:10 and 11 explain, "Whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?" Jesus is explaining that, contrary to the way we feel so often about money, it is only a little thing. If we cant be trusted with this little thing, who will trust us with true riches. True riches have to do with things other than material posesions. Authority and Responsibility in His Kingdom perhaps. Our handling of money is a yardstick by which God measures our trustworthiness.
