Ladies and Gentleman, I will prepare a long and boring talk tracing the origins of Multiverse Hypothesis all the way back to Leibnizs best of all possible worlds, not forgetting David Lewis modal realism, the whole played by Modal Logics, plus Kripke recent influence in it. We will reach the highest point in this adventure through the history of human thought when we see the unnatural analogy between Cantors hierarchy of infinities (aka transinfinite numbers) and that old modal metaphysics being absorbed by String Theory. At the end of the ride, I will be arguing how the only value of such stacking of metaphysical gibberish is the comical one, and as so, Rick and Morty writers are genious of parody.
