Land of our Birth, I salute you! You that saw the delivery of great minds that think and cherish your development, I greet you. Through ages and generations, you have remained committed to the well being of your own. Though ideologies and sensibilities differ in us, yet, non can change the truth of ancestry. Since origin, you remain surrounded by thick bushes to boost your agricultural prowess which was celebrated in seasons. Oh motherland, I lament the decay and rot that have decked your walls and have defied the power of all known detergents for cleansing. The elders have lifted a cry to the Almighty creator on your behalf and the young equally groans your state but without commitment to a way forward. The church in the land looks and waits anxiously for the answers to their many supplications. The younger genealogy still thinks and dreams a turn around of events and timing to celebrate the awaited victory at last over nonchalance and evil minds.
