Language Of Science Is Arabic: The world is unaware of the spectacular achievements of Arabic-language science from the eighth through the 16th centuries. In Mathematics, Astronomy, Medicine, Cartography (map making), Physics and Chemistry; medieval Arabic speaking Muslim scholars, doctors and mapmakers were centuries ahead of Europe. Centers for scientific research and experimentation emerged across Muslim lands in the Muslim cities of Baghdad, Cairo, Damascus, Samarkand, Shiraz, Bukhara, Isfahan, Toledo, Córdoba, Granada and Istanbul. This was a time when Europe was in its “dark ages” (a period of 1,000 years from 400 to 1400 A.D) having little education and scientific development of any sort. The Arabic language had a status, which English holds today-being a language of science”
