Last Sunday, the reflection was on the DISCIPLESHIP, to follow - TopicsExpress

Last Sunday, the reflection was on the DISCIPLESHIP, to follow CHRIST WITHOUT CONDITION, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, to TRUST on divine providence. It demands total freedom from EVERYONE and EVERTHING. This Sunday’s readings help us to reflect about MISSION. Our mission is to bring PEACE and LIFE in our hearts and in the community. In gospel, the mission of the Seventy two means the UNIVERSAL MISSION OF THE CHURCH. PEACE AND LIFE comes from the reign of God that is the kingdom of God. Jesus invites us that the kingdom of God is at hand for us, for all. Our participation is twofold: First, PRAYER: Jesus says ‘ask the Master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.’ It means we need to PRAY for the mission and ministry. Second, ACTION: Jesus says ‘Go, I am sending you.’ It means our ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT in mission work. Jesus will give us the gifts and graces to fulfill his mission. Let us PRAY as EVERYTHING depends on God and WORK as EVERYTHING depends on us.
