Last comment of today: I watch baseball daily pretty close, now what is so obvious in my observations is batters continually breaking bats. Oh I know we didnt have high 90s pitches to hit, but heres my point. Every bat has a label, indicating the grain of the wood. So our coach stressed the importance of placing the label facing up when batting, we never broke our bats, went all season with same bats, 3-4 that we had. Watching MLB batters, the just step up weilding their bats anyway they want. TV anchors never discuss this. To the broken bat proved my point. The label and where it cracked indicated bat held the wrong way. Anyway, rambling on here, whats afew twigs worth to a multi-million operation. Whew, its past 20:00 hrs and a stifling 28c outside, ttyl.
