Last medical post for real :). Im sure youre tired of them but Im grateful for the quick way to share information! The doctor ended up cutting open my incision (WITHOUT NUMBING!), cleaned things out while I cried like a baby, and packed the open wound with guaze so it heals naturally (so not re-stitching it closed). True but funny: my squeamish mother-in-law went to repacking it for me this morning, and the idea of using her fingers to go inside was a bit much. We used a long-handled teaspoon covered in the finger of a latex glove! Haha! Anyway, I already feel so much better!
