Last morning in Aledo. I will have to roust the kids here in a bit. Start the showers and stuff. Just two more days left in the construct we call The Year. Its like a lap counter through hell some years. Others its just purgatory. A few years are okay. I understand we make our own happiness. But the universe has to cooperate too. This year, this artificial demarcation of the flow of time, needs to be a watershed year for me... and for those i care about. We all need a year of victory. Celeste needs a better paying job. Vicky needs a mended heart. Les needs a year of smiles. Pam needs to be rewarded for all of her hard work. My lonely friends need to find love. My sick freinds need to find healing. My frightened friends need to find protection. My angry friends need to find joy. And I need to have things go my way so i can take charge of my future. We have so many needs. So many. This year must be better.
