Last night Dennis Khuu and I took the cab home (trusted company) after a night of karaoke & drinking with coworkers and saw that his price meters would bump up QUICK within just a block. Had a bad feeling so told him to just dropped us off. Paid him and we wandered to find the street that looked familiar (we were very far). We found this elder man guarding a hotel on his motorcycle on a dark street and asked him where Ba Huyen Thanh Quan (our hotel street) is and turned out we were walking in the opposite direction the whole time. He said he will take us and just pay for his gas (this was at 2-3am). Behb asked me if I want to trust him, I said rather believe he is a good person than reject and end up being more lost and ripped off with other taxis. He took us safely back to our hotel and we paid him for gas. Note this, we were pretty intoxicated during this whole thing. Really just shows that when you have good intentions & see the good in people good things will happen/come. Now we are both safe and would never imagine what could have happened differently.
