May I ask what the constitution says about salaries and allowances of lawmakers. Does it give a blank cheque to them? Who regulates salaries of executives and lawmakers who seem to be ruining the nation? Their deliberation contradicts electorate’s expectations. Tenure elongation, life pension, bloated salaries and allowances have caused disaffection between them and the electorate. They should wind up and go back to their homes.
