Last night Diane Sawyer issued an extremely weak apology for showing Palestinian victims in Gaza and saying they were Israelis. While the fault no doubt lies mostly with ABC producers & brass, Sawyer, who gets $12 million a year, is also personally responsible for her work. The fact is that ABC has been spinning the conflict for many years. Our study a few years ago found that ABC had reported on Israeli childrens deaths at a rate 14 times greater than they reported on Palestinian children killed by Israel.
