Last night I enjoyed the company of a person who works for our Govt. I wont say what dept because it could effect her his job, but I couldnt believe my ears, ENVIRONMENTAL WAS THE SUBJECT. It was explained to me how the environmentalists had taken control of the country and consisted of the biggest bunch of book educated fools I have ever hear of. Two examples of their intelligence was one, a bridge being resurfaced , in order not to get some of the old planks into the creek hundreds of thousands were spent on a plywood subfloor under it so no splinters of wood could fall into a filthy dirty old creek. No 2, Barn Swallows now deemed endangered to every city slicker that will listen but over running country barns took up residence under a bridge, so construction had to be completely halted until the young were gone, no one ever thought of moving the nest, the birds will follow ask any Farmer. Further more, huge nets were placed at each end of the bridge at hundreds of thousands of bucks so they could not return, rather cruel dont you think. Now for another, a bridge partly reconstructed, found a snake under it, wasnt there when they spent hundreds of thousands on their study, funny they can move, I didnt know that, well construction now halted until said snake moves on, what if he likes it there, no bridge I guess/ This folks is what a college education can produce, anyone else would pick up the damn snake and move it,, they can survive on their own In the mean time the greens march on, marching us into the poor house, I hear they now want to put flies and mosquitos on the endangered list, makes sense to me, has to if you cant fight the fools join them!!!!!!!.Yep I always think of my friend who bid on a contract with the Govt. he showed up with his D-7 Cat tractor and was told it wasnt big enough, took it home painted it stenciled D-9 on the side, took it back and the Engineer drooled over it, DUUUUUUUUUUUU.
