Last night my parents and I all sat down at the tv to watch this segment on insurance and mental illness. We watched together because we have all been affected during my treatment. After just two weeks at the second facility I was at insurance cut out. Had I not remained I would have died. My parents spent their entire retirement to keep me there. My parents arent on facebook to see this and I have said thank you so many times but it still seems so inadequate compared to what others have faced. I know there are family members here who would do absolutely anything for their child.. I know your loved one may not be thanking you now but they will. I wanted to die and wanted to be left to it but Im so thankful my parents didnt allow me to and spent everything they had to keep me alive. So as one of those former suffers- thank you family members for what you are doing. Here is the story by 60 Minutes
