Still in factory grease. 1895 Mauser made in Loewe, Berlin manufactured 1897 classified as an Antique per Gun Control Act of 1968 Title 18 and not subject to NFA Rule thus NO FFL transfer needed. Sights read 2000 yards but heck who can see that far?? Rifle has a full wood stock(Old School/NOT synthetic) MUST BE 18 years old to own. Originally chambered in 7MM and sent back to Mauser factory in the 40s and re-chambered to NATO.308. Very few of them were chambered in the .308 caliber as most were re-chambered to 8MM. This rifle is a 5 shot bolt action and I have a hand full of stripper clips to throw in. Maybe a few rounds of ammo for right price. Still in factory grease and MUST be disassembled and cleaned before use!!! Gun is located in SE Jackson County and I am open to offers and trades. I won the crate of 20 rifles at auction from rockislandauction/ back in 2007 for $10550 plus $450 shipping thus I have over $525 in each rifle. Again I am accepting offers/trades.
