Last time was at dentist, it was so ungodly painful that I stopped the cavity filling after 5 shots of novacaine and asked for a root canal. Not sure why I thought thatd be better. My appt is at 8:30 tomorrow but was told to arrive at 7:30 to take Valium and start the injections early. I think the worst part is knowing if I get the injection in my upper inner palate, itll block out most of the pain of procedure, but the injection itself is 6 seconds of level 12 pain. Im not a cry baby-I can handle anything, but working on a half broken tooth whose gum is healing from a filling splintered in it for a month---I might just pull a Cast Away with a coconut
