Last week in Open Studio, we explored the White Balance settings on the camera, looking to see which one gave the most accurate and/or most pleasing look to the still life one of the students set up. It was a great exercise for raising awareness about the differences and for giving the students the power to make better pictures. Pretty amazing the difference one little setting can make! (Open Studio begins again Sept 15, 10-12:30 each Monday through Dec 22. All are welcome, $35/session, call ahead to reserve your spot, bring your own project to work on.)
