Last week, one of my excellent yoga instructors said I had winging - TopicsExpress

Last week, one of my excellent yoga instructors said I had winging in my scapulas cause by weak serratus anterior muscles. Nah man, not me! I said to self. But today, I could not deny as while working on coming further forward today in crow pose in his class, I could strongly and undeniably feel the scapula coming up off my back. In rehabbing my shoulder from boxing/jiujitsu injuries I diligently was working all up around the back of the scapula building very strong rhomboids but never did anything to work the opposite side of scapula (serratus). Anway, kudos to Aaron Lind for calling out my problem PERFECTLY! and here is a really good video with explanation of serratus anterior as opposing muscle to rhomboids. https://youtube/watch?v=URhP3tUogDw
