Last week someone asked me if I ever had a mentor/mentors that have impacted my life while at school... Although the only answer I could come up was my mom...I have to say that during college I have many people that helped me through by feeding me lunch (back then I think I used to eat just ramen noodles), editing my essays (especially freshman year...I had no clue what I was doing really), and by pushing me to think outside the box and really test my capabilities (to the point of making me cry in class in front of my classmates...I think if you read this you know who you are)... Going down memory lane for a presentation I have to give to HS students on what is the college experience, I realized how lucky I was to have awesome individuals that inspired me to achieve my dreams and never give up...so now after almost 10 years of have gone through my freshman year of college....Thank you Leticia, Saul, Eyda, Marcia, Tanya, Kara, Dr. Grant-Wisdom, for never being there and supporting me in one way or another through those rough but awesome years....I will be forever grateful...
