Last week the residents of the Home were treated to an old car “Cruise In,” God’s Rods of Genoa Church arrived shiny and sparkling. Greg Rodgers the proud owner of a turquoise and white 1959 Chevrolet Bel-Air started the show by talking with the residents of The Home. Next, Mark and Debbie Sedlock talked to the residents about their 1959 Ford GTO Mustang. Finally Ben and Billie McRill shared their early 2000 Chevrolet Corvettes. Two of the residents had actually owned Bel-Airs in the same color combination and enjoyed reminiscing about their early cars. One resident had owned Mustangs and another had owned many Corvettes during their lifetime. A good time was had by all talking cars, reminiscing about their own cars, and asking lots of questions.
