Last year, while having some dental work done, I was informed of a program called County Care for residents of Cook County. Its a form of medical insurance. I applied for it and qualified. A few weeks ago they sent me a redetermination letter. I expected to have to fill something like that out once a year. But they sent the entire packet to me in Spanish. I called and explained to them that I dont speak or read Spanish. I was told that they would send out another packet in English for me. I got that about a week later, but it was again entirely in Spanish!. I called them again, and explained to the operator, again, that I do not speak or read Spanish. She said she was going to mark it in my file and issue it again in English. When I checked the mail yesterday I had the new packet. IN SPANISH AGAIN! This time when I called, the operator admitted that she could see my previous calls noted in my file, along with the requests for the forms in English. She made assurances that this time they will get it right. Well see. Next time I have to call, Im planning on just asking for a supervisor immediately. Just how stupid can these workers be if they make the same f*ing mistake 3 times in a row!!!!!
